The arrival of our adorable Chikamso a.k.a AdaChijokx was a wow! A combination of excitement, surprise, pleasure, wonder and admiration which created overwhelming chains of joy and jubilation among our families, friends and well wishers in both home and away. AdaChijokx's root grew out from a mere conversation between two young, formerly unfamiliar people who later became friends followed by chains of adventures and then finally, a couple. It was exciting how things worked out and still working out. Although few years back, Nneamaka and Chijokx did not know they would eventually meet, get married and be the parents to such an adorable baby. Nevertheless, fate provided the opportunity which brought them together, grew their communication and eventually transformed their relationship into an adventure that blossomed the two hearts towards each other which later became one in Love and gave life to AdaChijokx.

 Amy and Chijokx got engaged on the 13th day of October, 2011 on the night after their trip to Obudu Cattle Ranch in Nigeria. Four months later they got married at Maria Assumpta Cathedral Parish,Owerri (Feb 11, 2012) in Nigeria and started plans to raise a family. AdaChijokx emerged as a bundle of joy two years after. Her birth was a special gift from God as she would be a symbol of benevolence and hope to the common man, mouth for the oppressed and a precedence for true Love and charity for generations to come.
AdaChijokx's full name is coined from the Igbo language, a language spoken mainly by South-eastern Nigerians in the West coast of Africa. Below is the full English translation.

Chimkamso: I am following God's path
Obioma: Good heart
Somtochukwu: Join me in Praising God

BIOLOGICAL MILES AND THE MOTHERLAND EXPERIENCE

So many has happened within a very short period. I couldn't believe how fast I have accumulated many biological mileage. I have grown many teeth, walk, run, enrolled in preschool and now learning to speak and do some sign languages. Aside personal developments, I have had my first international flight experience to my motherland earlier this year at mere 7months to attend my grand dad's funeral. Although, that wasn't how I imagined my first visit to motherland, but fate made it so. The planning process involves a lot, like completing my immunization, having my international passport, and other paper and health work. Although, the travel itself was short, but the experience is amazingly remarkable. POWERFUL FEELING OF BEING TWO

For some reason I woke up yesterday feeling so powerful. I couldn't understand the feeling until I realized it was actually my birthday! whatever that means. Yay! it was my second birthday! I felt so powerful perhaps because of the surprising early morning 'happy birthday' song by Nonyelum's choir group led by my adorable mom with my daddy and great grandma as members. Maybe because it was my day, maybe not, maybe because of milestones I accomplished. Maybe not. Regardless of the reason behind the feeling, I am sure I exceeded all my milestones and that alone could not have been more fun without growing older by a way of adding another year! Yes! a day to celebrate just me, I guess that's what birthday means.
